ABOUT US

ABOUT US

Guiding Eyes for the Blind (GEB) is a non-profit that was founded in 1954 by Donald Z. Kauth. We function under the Finger Lakes Region of GEB and assist in training pups to work as service animals for those who are visually impaired. Our goal is to educate the Ithaca College community and greater public about GEB and their puppy-raising program, including but not limited to: greeting service dogs in training on campus appropriately; teaching community members about the importance of service animals; creating a welcoming atmosphere to learn; and sharing our presence in the community and on campus.
